Flowers are welcome and any donations may be made to the charity of your choice.Minnie's most important focus in her life was to serve as a mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, wife and homemaker as well as an active member of her extended family. She enjoyed dancing, working jigsaw puzzles, keeping up with current events, as well as emailing and "surfing the web." She became a scholar with regard to genealogical research, especially as it pertains to her family, and she was a constant resource for family information. Minnie worked outside the home during many intervals in her life, including White Way Laundry and BellSouth Telephone Company. During World War II, she was employed by the Willow Run Bomber Plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan where B-24 planes were produced. She was a prototype of the "Rosie the Riveter" character - young women who moved North to work in aviation factories during the war. Minnie's final employment was at Juvenile Court of Nashville and Davidson County as an intake manager; she retired from the court in 1986. Her life radiated wholesomeness and support to family and friends, and she will be missed greatly by all. Online tributes madisonfuneralhome.net MADISON FUNERAL HOME (615)868-9020.
