JOHNSON, HORACE ANDREW, SR. was born June 22, 1920 in Repten, Kentucky in Critten, County. He graduated valedictorian in 1938, from Clay High School in Clay, Kentucky. His friends called him "Andy," but in his workplace he was known as "Deacon." Andy retired after more than 40 years with the construction division of the H. H. Robertson Company. After retirement he continued to work, helping others as "Handy Andy." He was faithful to his family, friends, church, neighbors, work associates and most of all God. He is survived by Nita Johnson, his wife for 72 years; his son, Horace Andrew (Wilma) Johnson, Jr. (Butch); and his daughter, Susan (Darryl) Johnson-Miller; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. We'll miss you "Dad," "Papa," "Paw," -the best names of all. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Woodland Street Entrance, First Church of the Nazarene, 510 Woodland Street, 10:00 am - 11:20 am. Funeral services in the main sanctuary at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Serenity Mausoluem.
