LANCE, HENRY ELIJAH, age 98, died August 3, 2011. Preceded in death by wife, Daisy Pauline; granddaughter, Lorie Lee Lance; great grandson, Andrew Hitzelberger; son-in-law, Delbert Henson; daughter-in-law, Wilma M. Lance. Survived by sons, Jerry Duane Lance, Don Morland Lance, Gary Norman (Julie) Lance, Phillip Clayton (April) Lance, Sr., Roger Dale Lance; daughters, Lina Joy (Huston) Hudson, Vicki Diane Henson; fifteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be at Madison Funeral Home Friday 2-8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.at Neelys Bend Church of Christ with Bro. Keith Parker and Bro. Mike Tidwell officiating. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers, Mike Muskgrove, Teddy Ervin, Sherry Clem, Clay Gaines, Walt Remo, Richard Hudson, James Hannah, Jr., Ralph Cook and Ronnie Duhl. Interment Hendersonville Memory Gardens. The family request donations may be made to Madison Church of Christ Meals on Wheels and to Neelys Bend Church of Christ Benevolence Fund.
