Obituary of Dorothy Lee Bowlin

Dorothy Lee (Brandon) Bowlin passed away peacefully in her home in Hendersonville, Tn. Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the age of 90. She was the widow of John Richard Bowlin Sr. who passed in 1983. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a devout Christian lady who loved and served the Lord. She touched the lives of all she met and all who knew her. Ms. Bowlin is survived by her 5 children and their spouses, John Bowlin Jr. (spouse) Janice (Sissy), James Bowlin (spouse) Suzanne, Paul Bowlin, Carole Bowlin Walker (spouse) Mark, and David Bowlin (spouse) Colleen. She is also survived by 2 grandsons, Eric Bowlin and Daniel Bowlin (spouse) Sierra and their 5 children, and a great-granddaughter Haley Bowlin. Ms. Bowlin’s surviving brothers and sisters are Ray Brandon, Harry Brandon (spouse) Francis, Bobby Brandon (spouse) Linda, Aileen Rose, and Annie Miller. Her remains will be cremated by Madison Funeral Home, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
