ROBBIE NELL RUE WAS BORN ON JANUARY 22, 1941 AND PASSED AWAY ON March 11, 2022 AT THE AGE OF 81. SHE WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE EVERETT LEE VANDERPOOL AND THE LATE MATTIE HORTON VANDERPOOL.
SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND OF 51 YEARS, JAMES RUE SR, HER SON TERRY WAYNE RUE, AND DAUGHTER RITA RUE VICKERS.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER SON JAMES (PATRICIA) RUE JR, DAUGHTER KIMBERLY (JEFF) MARTIN, SON-IN-LAW MILES VICKERS, NINE GRANDCHILDREN, EIGHT GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, AND MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS.
ROBBIE WAS A WONDERFUL AND LOVING WIFE AND MOTHER WHO WAS VERY DEDICATED TO HER FAMILY. SHE CONSISTENTLY WORKED HARD BOTH AT HOME AND FOR SEVERAL YEARS IN THE PUBLIC WORKFORCE. SHE WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY ALL WHO LOVED HER.
Visitation with the family will be held Monday, March 14, 2022, from 4 PM - 8 PM, and Tuesday, March 15, 2022, from 10 AM - 11 AM in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home. Funeral Service at 11 AM at Madison Funeral Home, 219 E. Old Hickory Blvd., Madison, TN 37115. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204.
