Alvin Willis Thompson Otey. Age 72. Of Nashville, TN, formerly of Franklin TN, was born on July 1, 1949, and passed away January 2, 2022, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital.
Alvin was preceded in death by his Mother & Father, Willis and Emma Otey, his brothers, James Ball, Clyde Otey, and Patrick Otey, and by his niece Charlie Otey.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Kendall Thompson, his sisters, Marion "Mo" Owens, Melanie Otey, Laura (James) Johnson, Linda (Wayne) Brown, and Vivian Lemore, also, his brothers, Joe Otey, James Otey, John Will Otey, Robert Charles Otey, and William (Patricia) Starnes, and numerous nieces & nephews.
Alvin attended the Franklin School Distric and Natchez High School of Franklin, TN.
He was employed by the Firestone Corp. in LaVergne, TN for many years.
A Memorial Service will be held at Madison Funeral Home at 219 E. Old Hickory Blvd., Madison, TN 37115 from 10 AM till 12 Noon on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
