Preceded in death by mother, Marion Busby, and father, Bernice Hamblin.
Survived by wife, Connie D. Hamblin; sons, Kevin W. Hamblin (Jane) and James T. Hamblin, Jr.; daughter, Shannon Hayes (Andy) and step-sons, Kevin (Page) Collier, Col. Corey (Judi) Collier and Casey Collier; seventeen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Jim liked to "try" to play golf. He liked to hunt. His passion was photography. He learned at a young age and it stayed with him his whole life. James had a great laugh and a very commanding voice, which helped him with wedding photography. He had a good sense of humor. He loved to travel and always had a camera around his neck. James left a legacy of beautiful photographs. He was a hard worker and a dedicated Christian. He knew The Bible very well and studied it in depth. He had many friends and family who loved him.
