Obituary of Mary Ann Pursell

Mary Ann Witt Pursell,89, of Nashville, TN. Born June 1, 1931, in Davidson County, passed away on October 4, 2020. Mary Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. Mary Ann was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Lee and Eula Gibson Witt; brothers, Joseph, Jr., Dick, Jack, Warren, Craig, and James Witt; sisters, Louise Hayes, Zelda Oakes, and Sara Morton; daughter, Donna Gayle, and granddaughter, Meagan Pursell. Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Newell T. Pursell, Sr.; sons, Tom (Brenda) Pursell and Ron (Cathy) Pursell; five beloved grandchildren, Dawn Pursell Tawater, Misty London, Marcie Pursell, Katie Pursell, and Zack Pursell; eight beloved great-grandchildren, Keeley (Austin) Lee, Cyerra (Joel) Casey, Kailyn Smith, Brylee London, Sydnee London, Jayden Pursell, Braelin Pursell, and Adrian Pursell; along with several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at 11 AM with Russ Corley Officiating at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
