Obituary of Dorothy L (Dottie) Potter

Hermitage- Age 87, passed away on March 16, 2020. Dottie had a heart of gold and was generous to everyone. Her courage and strength over the last 14 months has been an inspiration to all. The family is forever grateful to all those who cared for her. She was preceded in death by parents Katherine and William; step-father, Shorty Pentecost; sisters, Katie and Marie; brothers Skippy, Bill, Danny, and Tommy, and special friend, Martha Jean Dorris. She is survived by her siblings Rosie (Pete), Dick (Pat), and Tim (Margo), as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Sharing of Memories will be 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM Wednesday, March 18, 2020 with her Life Celebration Service held immediately following at 1:30 PM in Amqui Hall of Madison Funeral Home. Interment, Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, 12110 Lebanon Rd, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122. WWW.ofsds.org.
