She is preceded in death by husband, Herbert Shelby Jr.; mother and father Zula and Winton Hix; brothers, Alvin and Ray Hix; sister, Violet Hix.
She is survived by sister, Mattie (Howard) Hunter;sons, Eddie (LeAnne) Shelby, John (Kim) Shelby;daughter, Peggy (Robert) Young; grandchildren, Jacob Shelby, Karlie Shelby, Allie Brooke (Caleb) Shurm,Colton Young;great-grandchildren, Hunter McMurry and beloved nieces and nephews.
