Rebecca Ann Dunlap

December 30,1930 - July 27, 2019

After business school Ann was employed at National Life and Casualty Company in Nashville. She then worked in Dickson while she helped care for her father who had "ALS" (Lou Gehrig's Disease). After his death she returned to Nashville and worked for the State of Tennessee as an Auditor until she retired after 36 years. She was a licensed Public Accountant.

Ann was a longtime member of West End Church of Christ. She made several trips overseas for Mission Work including Africa, Republic of Panama, Cuba, Dominica, Puerto Rico, Grand Bahamas and Guyana, South America. She was extremely selfless, caring person. She also worked with the Inner City Ministry and was an avid member of the West End Church of Christ Ladies' Bible Class.

Ann enjoyed sports, especially bowling, football and baseball. She was a strong supporter of her beloved Titans and Vanderbilt teams.

Ann, age 88, born December 30, 1930 went to be with her Lord July 27,2019. She was preceded in death by her parents William Ephriam and Willie Almeda Sanders Dunlap and an older brother, William Henry Dunlap. She is survived by a sister, Mary Darlene Dunlap Boritzki; two beloved nieces, Kaye Dunlap Duke Frensley (Bob) and Diane Dunlap Wood (Cooper);two beloved nephews, Jerry Dunlap and James Boritzki (Debra) and several great and great- great nieces and nephews.

Ann loved her Lord, Family, Friends, Sports and Traveling!

A Celebration of her Life will be at Madison Funeral Home Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 4:00- 8:00 pm.

Our family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff at Mary Queen of Angels, Belmont Village Senior Living, and Caris Hospice for the loving kindness, care and respect they showed her while in their care. Also, Thank you to Neighbours Life Celebration Services and Madison Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers please give donations to Nashville Inner City Ministry and Nashville Alzheimer's Association in Memory of Ann Dunlap.
