Mildred Mai Ray of Hendersonville, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 24, 2018 at the age of 92. Preceded in death by her husband, Thayer Ray, parents Walter and Alma Bruce, two sisters, three brothers and two grandchildren; Heather and Brian Kemp. Mrs.Ray was a Charter member of Bible Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN.
She is survived by her only child, Bretta Johns; sister, Flo Clinard; eight grandchildren; Denise Thurman, Mark Kemp, Emily Keeler, Gabriel Kemp, Madalynn Kemp-Shank, Katie Johns and Zachary Johns, and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 28, 2018 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home for visitation at 11:00 am and funeral service at 12 noon. Pallbearers: Tom Thurman, Mark Kemp, Gabriel Kemp, Zachary Johns, Chris Keeler and Sam Kemp. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery.
