Obituary of Martha E. Angel

It is with great sadness that the family of Martha Elizabeth Cairnes Angel announce her passing on October 12, 2018, at the age of 59. Martha will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 23 years, Paul Angel. She will also be forever remembered by her surviving family, Jean Cairnes (mother), siblings James Cairnes (Pam), Julia Hooper (Joe), and Laura Vaughn (Ed), as well as her many nieces and nephews, step-daughter Angela Sneed, and mother-in-law Clarine. Martha's pets were always a part of her family, and Ginger and Daisy Mae will grieve her passing. Martha's loving spirit was unlimited. She delighted in spoiling her nieces and nephews and every animal that crossed her path. Martha's family enjoyed the bounty of her love, and are also proud of how she extended herself to others in need. For many decades, Martha worked in food services for nursing home care, where she found the combination of two great loves... cooking and caring for others. Martha nurtured and nourished everyone she met, and will be greatly missed as she joins her father (Harold Cairnes) and brother (Mark Cairnes) and the other loving family that preceded her in death. Martha greatly enjoyed the company of her co-workers at Tri-Star Hendersonville, and her family is grateful for the care and attention shown during her illness. Funeral services will be privately held. Memorial donations may be made in Martha's name to the American Cancer Society or the Nashville Humane Association.
