Obituary of Jeanette Neighbors

Jeanette Neighbors of Nashville, TN went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 06, 2017, she was 78. She was a native of Ashville, NC and was a resident of Nashville, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Rev. George Neighbors.

Mrs. Neighbors is survived by her sons; Michael Richard (Judy) Neighbors of Covington, VA, Charles (Melinda) Neighbors of Clayton, NC Rodney Neighbors of Brentwood, TN; daughters, Sharon (Richard) Johnson of Bowling Green, KY and Karen (Michael) Jarratt of Nashville, TN; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

Mrs. Neighbors was a loving mom, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She, along beside her husband pastored for twenty-two years in the Church of the Nazarene.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 10am in the Sanctuary of Trevecca Community Church of the Nazarene with funeral services to begin at 11:30am. Dr. Dwight M. Gunter, II officiating. Pallbearers: Seth Jarratt, Detrick Johnson, Brad Fowler, Hunter Davis, Richard Johnson and Michael Jarratt. Honorary Pallbearers: Adam Neighbors, Xander Johnson and Ryder Johnson.

Interment will be on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 10am at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. MADISON FUNERAL HOME (615) 868-9020.
