I last talked to Myra on the phone several years ago on my way home from my job in Charlotte, NC and did not find out until today, 6 years later that she had passed away.
She was my boss as an Advertising Manager in Rockingham, NC at the Richmond County Daily Journal when Jason was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC.
Myra was an inspiration to all and was an encourager.
She was a Blessing to know.
Rest in Peace my Dear Friend.

Everyone at the Colorado Springs Philharmonic would like to send their best wishes to Myra's friends and family during this solemn time. We very much appreciated her efforts on behalf of the Ute Pass Symphony Guild and Philharmonic Kids, and we are saddened to hear of her passing. We will have Myra in our thoughts as we prepare our annual concert in Woodland Park this July.

I will miss Myra. I got to know her through the Phil Kids Concerts. She was the docent coordinator for the Ute Pass schools and I was the docent coordinator of the local area.
She was also concerned about my husband when he had cancer and called me periodically to see how he was doing.
Rest in peace, my friend.

I was a friend of Myra's in junior and senior highschool. We were both in Job's Daughters and were majorettes for the freshman band. I was on the bottom row right side of the majorette picture.
Myra was a lot of fun and a good friend. My husband and I were in Colorado Springs last summer visiting relatives. I wish I had known then Myra was living there. I am thankful for the life Myra lived and the impact she had on so many people's lives.
With Gratitude,
Lea Ann Matthews Brummett
