Obituary of Frances Myrtle Vaughn

Frances Myrtle Vaughn was born October 30, 1928 in Jackson, MS to the late Claude and Agnes Kenny Maynard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Vaughn, Jr.,her brother, Robert Clark Maynard; her sister, Margaret Maynard Flick. She worked many years in the Wardrobe and Laundry Department at Opryland for Gaylord Entertainment. She was a member of the Rivergate Church of Christ. She loved to bowl. She passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday evening August 16, 2015. She is survived by son, James R. (Tammy) Vaughn of Gallatin, TN; son, Gary (Georgia) Vaughn of Alabaster, Al; son, Donnie Vaughn of Nashville, TN; daughter, Patricia (Gary) Owen of Nashville, TN; son, Larry (Sherry) Vaughn of Lancaster, KS and daughter, Tammy (Gary) Frakes of Orlinda, TN. Grandchildren, Jamie, Kelly (Jeff), Lori (Shaun), Jacquelyn, Amanda, Tiffany, Kristie (Chris), Toni (Joshua), Dustin, Jeremy, Cory, Brandon (Katie) and Ryan; great grandchildren, Brianna, Taleb, Evan, Jodi; William, Michelle, Donnie's other grandchild, Zach, Cody, Brittany, Joshua, Nicholas, Raylyn, Tristan, Tanner, Bubba (Joshua), Ashley, Casey and Bud. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, 4:00pm-7:00pm and on Thursday, August 20, 2015, 10:00am until time of Service at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home. Interment at Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers, Sons and Grandsons; Honorary Pallbearers, Tuesday Morning Women's Bowling League. Brother Sellers Crain will be officiating.
